The Dream Foundation Unlimited, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded on January 9, 2024, by Shawn and Maxine Whitehead in loving memory of their son, Fatin Rhone, whose life was tragically cut short by gun violence.
Shawn and Maxine are deeply rooted in their faith and community.
They currently serve as Campus Pastors at Kingdom Life Christian Church in Petersburg, Virginia. Shawn is a retired U.S. Army Combat Veteran, bringing strength and resilience to the mission. Maxine, a Certified Life Coach, Christian Mentor, and founder of Kingdom Coaching, LLC, offers guidance, healing, and empowerment to those navigating life’s most difficult moments.
Together, they have turned unimaginable loss into a mission of hope—creating a foundation that uplifts others, carries forward Fatin’s legacy, and fights for a future free from violence.

The Dream Foundation Unlimited, Inc. was founded with a powerful mission: to honor the lives of loved ones lost to gun violence and violent crimes by turning their unfulfilled dreams into a legacy of hope, opportunity, and change. We are committed to supporting families as they navigate unimaginable loss, while working to build safer, more empowered communities.
Through mentorship programs, we provide youth and families with positive pathways to resolve conflict, build resilience, and find purpose. Our foundation also champions access to education and personal growth by funding scholarships for college and supporting Arts and Life Skills programs that inspire creativity, confidence, and self-sufficiency.
At The Dream Foundation Unlimited, Inc., we believe that even in the face of tragedy, dreams can live on and together, we can transform pain into purpose.
